At the Mosaica Book Bar in Lido di Camaiore the new photographic exhibition by Iacopo Giannini Ars Carnevalaris
The new personal exhibition of the photographer Viareggino Iacopo Giannini is called "Ars Carnevalaris", which will open on Saturday 3 February 2018 inside the Mosaica Book Bar in Lido di Camaiore
The exhibition, which consists of 16 black and white photographs, selected by the artistic director Gianni Francesconi, formerly Facility Manager of the Lucca Center of Contemporary Art Museum of Lucca, is a collection of images that represent the carnival of Viareggio.
The exhibition has a double key to reading, the first, reportage, where the photographer Viareggino wanted to tell according to their key reading what is the most important carnival event in the world representing the allegorical floats, masks and masks that make the carnival the most popular event by the viareggini.
The second key to reading is a introspective journey of the artist, where, through the "gazes" of the masks and the people portrayed, we can interpret the mood of the author in his last year, here we will see, shots of joy and sadness, of reflection and of ambiguity.
During the inauguration, a debate will take place in the presence of the author and moderated by Simona Barberi in which the artist's work will be told.
Iacopo Giannini , born in 1977, is an Italian freelance photographer, winner of numerous national and international prizes and awards, his photographic works are published regularly in major national and foreign newspapers and magazines.
The exhibition will remain open every day from February 3rd to March 15th 2018 and can be visited at the "Mosaica Book Bar" in the Anna Magnani court in Lido di Camaiore from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm, with closing day on Sunday.
