Versilia in 100 portraits

Versilia in 100 portraits hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 am - 1.00 pm/3.00 pm - 6.30 pm Exhibition organized by the Associazione Percorsi d'Arte. There is all the history, not only cultural, of Viareggio and of the Versilia of the twentieth century in the exhibition of Marco Dolfi. In the paintings of the Viareggio painter a series of itineraries are shown that enhance the cultural and social activities of the whole Versilian territory: artists of national and international fame. Marco Dolfi gives proof of his qualities as a portraitist with an acute perceptive and psychological sensitivity, as well as the masterly intensity and effectiveness of the sign, acquired by the long association with Renato Santini, of whom he was the most loving disciple. The result is a passionate, admirable, articulated gallery of portraits of illustrious personalities, capable of leaving vivid traces of their human and artistic journey, also closely linked to the Viareggio-Repaci prize. But the whole exhibition - including portraits of artists, musicians, politicians, personalities of culture, literature and theater - is followed by a deep visceral love of Marco Dolfi for the city of Viareggio.
